Problem with growing Kale

Hi everyone! I'm growing Kale (Nero and Curly) hydroponically in an ebb and flow system. My plants have started to show some usual behavior where I can see branches and leaves sticking against each other. EC is 1.8, pH is between 6 and 6.5 and temperature is 24-27 degrees C (~77F). Can anyone help me figure out what the problem could be?
