Does anyone have recommendations for pretty yet low maintance bushes? I want to plant something in the front of my home that doesn't need a lot of work but still looks nice. I am completely clueless in this department. I've never had to plant bushes before.

Thanks! I live in ny, so it gets cold here during the winter and hot during the summer (sorry should have mentioned that!). I've been doing research and I'd love a bush that produces flowers in the spring and summer (if possible).

A few low maintenance flowering bushes that will grow in your zone.

This first one reminds me of my grandmas house in the summer. She has these everywhere and.....missing summer already :(

Wow I love hydrangeas. I think they are one of the prettiest flowers. Thanks for recommending them. I will look into more information about planting them in my area and their up keep.

I think that is a great way to go Kimmy. There are so many different varieties and colors and most will grow in New York and are not too difficult to care for once established. Let us know if you need any help deciding (y)
