I have a small space approx 25 sq ft that many years ago had tomato plants. It has since become unused and overgrown.

If I clear the weeds, what might I add to the soil in preparing to put in some tomato plants? I'm i central British Columbia and we hope the frost will soon no longer be an issue.

Also what varieties do people recommend if taste rather than appearance is your main criterion?

Thanks for any advice

Eight Black Krim tomatoes were picked for the table.I have five plants and they are my favorite tomato. Sliced or juiced they are more than acceptable.
