Pots of bulbs front Garden Centre today

I popped into our local garden centre and bought dwarf tulips little red ridding hood,Pinnochio and Iris.

Those sound like they'll be really pretty once they get going!

Yes they will really be so colourful.

I have also planted cream crocus along side and dwarf daffodils.

And shall see the view from my kitchen window.

This sounds lovely, you'll have a wonderful view from your kitchen window, Scotkat. I especially like dwarf tulips. As for dwarf daffodils, I used to grow them indoors, it was one of my very first plants

That does sound beautiful. I bet you can't wait until it's warm enough outside to transplant them. Then, you can enjoy seeing them poke their heads out of the earth year after year. I never tire of seeing my tulips come up every year.

I see the tulips are starting to come up in our area all though it has been really cold. I have never tried to plant bulb plants in the fall so that I can have the plants in the spring. I will plan a trip to the garden center to pick up a few pots to go out front to make it feel like spring is coming.
