We had an area in the garden where we were dumping old soil and bark ( before we started our compost bins) and I decided to plant some native pollinator flowers. The mound is just now starting to flower and the bees, butterflies and hummingbirds live it!

The rocking horse in the first photo my dad got for me as a kid. He passed away a couple of years ago. I wanted to make the horse part of the garden.
Every June on Father’s Day we’d go fishing with him.
I miss him dearly.

It's very pretty! I am currently looking after my dad, he has alstimers. I am very sorry you lost your dad. Memories are a beautiful thing and help a lot.
