Several years ago I saw a plant at Oxfords Botanic Gardens that I just had to have - Plectranthus 'Mona Lavender'. Despite searching high and low it proved impossible to find for sale here in the UK.
Back in May I went to our village plant sale and I saw a plant that I instantly recognised! So finally for just a couple of quid I had my Plectranthus 'Mona Lavender', small but mine...............
It grew rapidly however................
Finally, it came into bloom and it was every bit as terrific as I remembered....................
I've taken a few cuttings so hopefully I'll have a few in bloom next autumn.
