Dear senior citizens,
it was a challenge between us, me and my friend! she showed me the picture, she gives me a hint, that it is a fruit plant! she took this picture in her holiday! I will let you know as soon as she tells me! but I gave up. but thank you so much for your kind help, kind regard~
This is Water-Hawthorn (Aponogeton distachyos), a South African native in the Family Aponogetonaceae. It grows and blooms best in cool weather, rather than warm weather like the majority of aquatic plants. The flowers are of most unusual form and sweetly perfumed. Other common names include Cape Pond Weed, and presumably Cape Pond Lily.
