I have a croton cutting that I planted a month ago. After some struggle and some myccorhizae mix, it finally produced some nice leaves. I keep it indoors, in front of a window, because of a bad heatwave these days. Humidity is quite low outside atm, about 30-40% and temperature is around 35C. Indoors it's 28 C and 70% humidity. Unfortunately my windows are facing north so it doesn't get any direct sunlight. The medium is half potting mix and half perlite. I water once every two days, after checking the soil with my finger first.

Yesterday the plant suddenly started drooping. I watered it but the drooping continued. This morning I saw that even the new leaf has drooped. What could be the reason? Can I still save it?

Many thanks!
