Please help! Dieffenbachia crocodile

Can anybody help me with my dieffenbachia crocodile, I’ve got two new leaves and they are both dry?! And the tips of the plant is turning yellow/ brown.
(the plant has been in the same place for 8 months, it’s has morning sun. These pictures were taken at 7am. I water it with tap water when the soil is dry and that I’ve done the whole time and i give it nutrient once every two weeks now when it’s spring/ summer.)

The tip burn is caused from the fertilizer you are giving every 2 weeks. Plus, using tap water over an extended amount of time will build up minerals in the soil, and lock out a few micro nutrients. The best way to fix the problem is to use filter or bottled water each time you water and don't fertilize with that dose. Try using 1/2 the amount of fertilizer you use, only once every 6 weeks very lightly. Good luck
