Planting Laurel Hedge With Horsetail

Hi All.

I have a 70ft run where I want to plant a laurel hedge to 6ft high and about 3 ft wide. Unfortunately I have a lot of horsetail growing where I want to play the laurels. The laurels are about 3 ft tall in pots. Do you think the horsetail will impact on the laurels establishing and effect there growth?

Probably not. Keep the horsetails trimmed shorter than the laurels to prevent shading and things should be fine.
