Hi Guys,

I have two cuttings from an unknown plant (naughtily it was taken by my step-mum from a hotel).

However, recently they both had a spout of tremendous growth. The new leaves you can see in the images formed in around 1-2 weeks. Since they have come out though, the older leaves have been turning yellow/transparent/brown as per the picture of a fallen leaf from one.

The new leaves appear pretty lush and green, but wondering whether this would be expected. The second cutting as you can see has ended up pretty bare as a result, all in favour of the small handful of new leaves.

Any help would be appreciated.

Over watering issue. Allow the the top two inches of soil to dry well before watering again. Also use bottle water or filter water to water and that should help your plant.
