Pests - What Are They and How To Kill Them

Hello!

Completely new to this forum. One of my square foot gardens definitely has some visitors. You can tell most of the damage is on the sweet potato leaves, although they are on the zucchini behind it as well (damage much more prevalent on the sweet potatoe leaves). Are these ants of something else? (Pics attached)

I am terrible at bug hole forensics, but I find a lot of the leaf holes in my garden are from beetles. Pyrethrin works. Neem oil too.
