Hi,

I have a pear tree not sure of the variety that I have had for 10 years and it has never produced pears. There also has never been any flowers on it.

Does anyone have any tips on how to fix it so it’ll start producing fruit?

I have attached pictures to show the variety.

Matt

Did you buy it and plant it? Or did you inherit it?
I'm just wondering if it is a seedling pear growing on it's own roots. Most fruit trees that you buy are grafted onto a root stock of known behaviour. For example I planted some new pears on a dwarfing rootstock two years (these plants would have been about four years old) and last year I had a few flowers and this year there is some fruit.
The other problem with a seedling tree is that you don't know what the fruit will be like.
I would remove it and replace with one and preferably two new pear trees of known type..

Pear trees can be very fickle any number of thing can stop them from producing fruit . Over watering is a prime culprit , they are quite happy with a weekly wattering of just 2-3 inches . Remove surrounding vegetarian including grass in a 4 foot radius to prevent competition for water . Do Not hang anything from it's limbs and for heavens sake do not let anyone climb them , pear trees are sensitive and undo stress on their branches can cause runting of fruit or flat out stop production.
As with any fruit bush give it a fruit tree spike each spring
