Pale spots on tomato plant

I'm wondering what might be causing these spots? I haven't noticed any aphids under the leaves, only some flies that came with the soil.

It could be fungal or a lack of something, or too much of something. It's not aphids or pests. Just curious what are those white things in the pot?
