Outdoor Propane Cooker.

MARTIN PROPANE BURNER R65H 65000 BTU WITH HOSE
I had one of these for outdoor cooking for about ten years. I use it for the initial cooking for produce for pressure canning. It is truly a marvelous cooker sold by Home Depot and others for around 70 dollars. There are a number similar that have major defects, like regulator not working, incompatible fittings, and some even unsafe.

The burner is as perfect as they get. There are many being sold that are JUNK.

Looks much better quality than the one we have. Got it as an outside cooker for crab boils but it works great for canning since I couldn't use my canner on my glass cooktop.

How would you rate those with cast-iron frames?
Obviously, they are going to be heavier, but for longevity? Cast iron is difficult to match.

The burner cast iron is fine. I have had both. Th regulator should be adjustable and have a standard fitting. Frame construction is important. It should not be flimsy.

really nice. I have considered an outdoor cooker as a few food items I would make inside would have the smell hovering in my house too long and unpleasant for me. such as fried chicken, or frying the eggplant for eggplant parm. things like that. hate fry smell hovering.
