Organic Lawn Feed

Good Morning everyone from Ireland.

I am hoping to scarify my lawn next week. The weather averaged 12'c last week.

I would like to make my own organic Lawn feed. I am open to any recommendations for an organic homemade liquid lawn feed.

Is there a popular choice of items that can be composted for lawn feed, especially for overseeding and also fertilising the new grass to keep it healthy.

Hello friend. You can have good results using composted compost or aged composted manure. Just top-dress and spread a layer on top of the lawn. You can top-dress 3 times during the growing Season. Good luck and keep us posted.

I will follow this method and keep you updated, excited to do this as the lawn needs scarification after the Irish winter.

You can also use fish emulsion if you want a liquid you can spray.
