Hi y'all, I recently found a great deal on some hyacinth and allium bulbs and ordered them quickly without doing any reading… apparently they are supposed to be planted in the fall before the first frost. Is there any other way to grow them? I would hate to waste the bulbs.
Any advice is appreciated! I’m in zone 6b

Welcome.

That's probably why they were a "great deal".

My guess is that the hyacinth bulbs are least likely to keep until next fall. I think I would plant them in pots and keep them protected from freeze until frost free conditions arrive and you can transplant outside.

The allium bulb might keep in a cool dry storage until fall...might.
