Orange bitter melon

Why are they turning orange they were green

What plant is that? Looks like a cross bred squash.

Well it definitely looks bitter. Must be ripening.

Bitter melons are just like cucumbers. They are edible when green and unripe but yellow and bitter when ripe. All it's good for now is seed.

They were green turned orange leaves have been yellow for awhile also

That is what they are supposed to do but, the yellowing of the leaves is caused by either not feeding the plant correctly or by not watering enough. Not feeding the plant is the most likely.
