Spent the weekend up at Bootsy's charity open garden in Essex

Lovely time, nice to catch up with old friends and meet new ones

There was a thunderstorm at the start which soon cleared to make way for a very warm weekend.

The runner beans get sold for charity later in the year

I heard that well over a thousand plants were sold too

Great to hear the open day went well & Weather was on top form I'm guessing. Wish I could of got there but it was an impossible task with the work load I had & add to that a couple of hangovers

Thanks @zigs for starting this off.

I've been rather preoccupied lately getting the event ready. We only charge £1 for people to come in and look around the garden but also sell lots of plants, books, coffee and cake etc. and it all goes to charity. We made something over $6,000 for the charity.

I'll try and add photos, gradually, when I have time.

To start with, here are the plant sales tables - with lots more plants waiting to be added as the others are sold.
