Bit late with sowing the Kelsae Onions this year, first sowing on boxing day didn't germinate, but got some more seed and gave it another go :)

These have got 2 months to get big enough for the show :eek:

Are they old 5l mineral water bottles that you're using to grow them in?
What's your growing medium and feeding regime?
Go on, you can tell me, I live in Cheshire, and so not competition...

:D Yep they are, don't feed em as it might make em bolt, just planted into farm yard manure :)

Sorry Bees, I was just waking up :D

I did sow boxing day but the seed didn't come up, so this lot is a few weeks late.

Just sown in pots and pricked out when big enough to handle, then potted on individually :)

Onions are one of my favorite veggies and they grow well where I live. There is nothing more tasty than the home grown variety. Yours look amazing and big Zigs!
