Hi guys. Any idea why my okra plants are suddenly looking like this and leaves losing colour. It’s always been a light shade of purple so never thought much of it but now it’s much more intense ! Getting worried
Thank you for your helpAs shown in the pictures the purpling gets worse with age. Old growth has a lot of purple, new growth none. Purpling is caused by a lack of phosphorus but I think your problems are more than that. It looks as if you did not fertilize or fertilized with the wrong amount. Also, on all of the leaves I see that the leaf tips are brown. That means too much water. That and the lack of nutrients could cause susceptibility to a lot of different diseases which could cause the sudden curling and death of the leaves.
