So a got a little thing in the mail from the Arbor Day association. To join you send in ten dollars and they will send you seeds to plant 10 lovely flowering trees. Well, I'm allergic to all the flowering trees they wants to send! Like really bad allergic. Cottonwood and dogwood are the worst on the list. They have them at work and I can't open my office window or I start itching and sneezing. So I decided not to join because when I get a seed, I just want to plant it!

Hopefully your allergies will clear up as you get older, mine have. Not had hayfever for a few years now, and the dog/cat/wolf allergies are not so bad now.

Did discover i'm allergic to Pigeons after looking after one overnight recently though.

Those trees are probably the two most common tree allergens. You are certainly not alone in your misery there. Some people feel that their symptoms are not as bad if the regularly consume a bit of local honey. If you have access to that where you live, it might be worth a try in case it helps your symptoms be less severe.

I have been sneezing a lot lately and I have no idea why. It is an allergy of some sort, but it is the dead of winter and there is no pollen floating around as far as I know. Anyone have any ideas?

That's when my cat allergy always got worse, as in winter all the windows were kept shut so the alergens built up indoors. Could be you'm allergic to something in the house. House dust mites are the usual culprits, along with mold spores.

Doesn't matter how well you clean a place, they'll always be there.

Maybe I have developed an allergy to cat hair. I do have a 7 year old cat and she is exclusively an indoor cat. I only really sneeze in the evenings when I am at home.

Could well be, if she scratches you does it come up in a bump?

Yes it does. When she does scratch me the area around the scratch swells for a while. I just thought that was normal when you get scratched by a cat. If I am allergic to her, I will just have to deal with the side effects because I could not imagine giving her up.

Yep, you'm allergic to her then. Just hoover a lot, you can get special filters to remove allergens, get some fresh air in the house whenever you can and try removing any Silver or Gold jewelery as that made my allergy 10 times worse.
