I have strawberries in a hay bale and today I noticed this orange brown blob (looked almost like concrete) on the hay bale. When I poked at it, the top crumbled away and it looked yellow. Is this a mold of some sort? It is in a pretty sunny spot on our back porch. The second picture is something that looks very similar, but a more grey color. It is on the potato plant next to the hay bale. TIA!
