Looking forward to sharing my progress with you. The size is roughly 19 x 36. I hope to utilize vertical gardening where I can. Any advice you can give is great. I had a woodchuck problem so I sunk the fence about 6 inches down. Seemed to keep them out last summer. I gad a few beds ready, but I hope to gave everything finished this spring.

Thanks zigs. Btw you resemble Gene Wilder in your photo. Lol. I like you title of naughty moderator. Can I have a tag, "Perverted poster?"

Hi beth. Zigs corrected a double post of mine. Guess I should have private messaged him. All the rocks are from the property. I've also started to design a fire pit and patio area. I have more rocks then I have need for, which is a blessing because I'll use them all. The pic is of the other project I have started. Rocks worked best with the chicken wire to keep the pests out. Squires and chipmunks still beat me though.

Ah OK! Thanks for explaining the missing post. :)

That's pretty much what my yard looks like right now. I'm actually planning a rock garden in my front yard, maybe with a small water feature. Thanks for the chicken wire tip! No chipmunks on my property, but tons of fat squirrels.

Welcome to the forum, I gave up on fighting the squires and chipmunks, seems like the last few years they have become a bigger problem for gardeners, no matter how many times the dog chases off they keep coming back. I'll start working in my veggy garden in mid April if we don't get snow.

Bukaki, I've never used it because my gardens are chemical and pesticide free, I want my dog, great grandkids and bees to be safe in the gardens.

Maybe you also need a cat? I have a lot of squirrels in my yard, but they stay out of the garden, in part it's because of the cats, but also because the closest major tree (Live Oak) is about 30 feet away, so they just don't feel safe that far with the cats in the yard. If I had no cats, or the tree was closer they'd be in there for sure.
