Last year we re-done our fishpond/garden (Papa's Garden, is what we call it in memory of my dad). However, the liner dry-rotted pretty fast and now I am pondering idea's on how to do it again.

I would like to cement the pond itself, because I have re-done the liner 3 times and it's getting expensive. Plus, I lost fish each time I have to change the liner.
Any new idea's on how it could be completed this go around?

*What the area looks like with just the pond (photo from when we first dug the pond).

Greetings, welcome to the Forums.

I'm not sure what kind of plastic you used as a pond liner, but consider using a flexible rubber liner made of HDPE rubber. This is a durable material that will survive the elements for many years when use dproperly.

Of course you can build a hard concrete liner. That will basically take the same expense and materials as building an in-fround swimming pool.
