It looks like a type of purslane. Pictures of the stem and flower would be helpful

Another edit....I think I just saw the woody stem...purslane doesn't have woody stem....
Yes it could be a species of adenium or possibly jatropha. Both are highly toxic so take care when dealing with the sap. I think the first 3 suggestions are highly unlikely.
