Have no idea what this is. Anyone know the name of it and how to remove it? I close on my
Home Monday and during my final walk through today I saw a snake come from them. I have a 2 year old daughter so this absolutely has to go.

It is actually about the mice, frogs and other food sources that snakes eat. Consider boxed poison traps, water sources, a female cat, in addition to digging that shrub out.

The shiny ground cover is Asian Jasmine, a very desirable ground cover. Removing it won't be easy--digging it out, roots and all would work best, but be prepared to dig and remove more than once.
Snakes fear people, and if you don't let your daughter run barefoot, she should be safe. Snakes can't hear, but they are very sensitive to vibrations, and even the vibrations of a shod toddler will trigger the snake's escape mechanism.
