My Cattleya finally bloomed for the first time since I have had her!!! I brought her outside in the shade and i think it was enough to coax her blooms!! I don’t know the specific type of cattleya or name!!

What a beautiful orchid! It might be one of those yellow, red-lipped x Rhyncholaeliocattleya hybrids, but there are so many hybrids, crosses, and clones. Did it come with a name tag?
No I was so disappointed that it didn’t have a tag! I got it at Lowe’s and they group there plants by “orchids” ! I hate it! But I wanted a cattleya orchid so badly! And besides the time I bought it haven’t seen one there ever!! So I jumped on it
No, I agree, don't pass up a delightful plant just because it is nameless. It can remain a beautiful mystery, or you might even treat it like a riddle to solve. With hybrid orchids though, there are so many similar grex and cultivar names that the search can be futile, but I would look in the direction of such complex crosses as x Rhyncholaeliocattleya, x Brassolaeliocattleya, x Potinara, etc..
