Being in Georgia, Muscadine vines are everywhere. I've never paid them much attention except to pull them up when they're in my way. Now I'm wondering if I can actually get some fruit off some of these. Anyone ever eaten wild muscadines? Any special tips for getting these volunteer vines to produce? I have some with little blooms and some with little balls that look like they may turn into grapes. I've heard they don't all produce but don't know much about them.
They are growing in my flower bed, up one of my bushes, in the ditch by the driveway, on my fence, and in the woods.
Tips anyone?
