Moldy hosta base?

any clue what's going on here?
Two weeks ago I put down some slug bait that's kind of lols like those pellets but I'm not sure and then what's the fuzzy Miley stuff?

The plants looks great otherwise but the base is nasty!

That white stuff is called tricoderma. It is a beneficial fungi that is growing on the added grain that is in sluggo and other slug and snail remedies. Nothing to worry about
