Hello, everyone,

I received this plant as a gift, and I am totally inexperienced on how to keep plants alive :(
I followed the suggestions on the label (keep the compost moist, but not wet. Place in a light but away from the sun).

But I think the plant is not well, it has developed brown spots that don't look healthy at all.

Can anyone give me advice on what it could be and what I should do?

Thank you very much in advance

Most bromeliads need bright, indirect sunlight or dappled shade. Avoid direct sun since it can scorch the leaves.

Hi! Thank you, I’m already doing this but it doesn’t seem to be working and the brown spot on the plants are becoming larger every day

Can you post a photo of the plant's bottom? I would like to see how it's growing in the container.

I've never seen one in a container like that. It looks wet to me and could use a little more dry time.
