I just got a milkweed plant, as my very first. I did a lot of research and see that there’s a fungus/disease spreading and killing my plant, I have a hydrogen peroxide solution prepared and know to take off the caterpillars before spraying but can not find anywhere on the web telling me when it’s safe to put them back on.

I'm not sure how long hydrogen peroxide keeps on oxidizing but I imagine it would hinge off the strength of the solution. I'd imagine after an hour or so it would be safe. If you want to really be safe, you cancel out hydrogen peroxide with chlorinated water such as city water. 1 pmm free chlorine will neutralize 1 ppm hydrogen peroxide.
