Members/Guests/Robots???

Could some one please tell me what is meant by the break up of those online, i.e. Members,
Guests and Robots just out of curiosity?

If you're logged in you show up as a member, if you'm just browsing without being logged in you show up as a guest.

All the rest are bots crawling the site for keywords to rank it on search engines like google and bing

I had always wondered about the ''bots'' and what their function really was. Thanks for asking, Deb, but overall thanks for replying Zigs =D I hadn't dared to ask myself, because I often forgot about it Glad to hear those bots are actually a very good thing for the health of this forum.
