Mantura Prayer Plant

I've had this prayer plant for 8 days and he keeps drooping and his leaves are losing colour and are curling upwards around the edges of his leaves. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong I've moved him around trying to find the ideal light and I've got a spray to mist him to try and keep the humidity up? any ideas what I'm doing wrong?

You can try setting the plant on a large plant saucer of pebbles and keep half filled with water. These are beautiful plants, but I have not had great success because of their needs of humidity. Good luck
