Mango shock help

Hi. I think this mango is on shock and leaves are falling in droves. I may have transplanted too early as I noticed many tiny roots severed in the process. Of all leaves fall off and it is just the stem, Will it grow back? Can it be saved? I’ve attached pics. One just after transplant, and one now.

The only thing I believe will help the plant is to use Super Thrive on it. I think it can be saved but, it will be a long process. One good thing is that the leaves are falling and not hanging on turning brown
