Mammoths are like hairy elephants. Those are sun flowers, very big ones:)
🤣 I'm so happy for these huge sunflowers. My yard is too shady so my sunflowers always end up being half the size ...these I planted at my garden plot that I grow vegetables in every summer...it gets full sun ☀️

They are really good, ours got the shadow from the house after the morning sun and failed to turn, so next door got to see them, not us. Do you leave them for seeds? I thought the birds would have them, but they ignored them. Then when I broke them up and put them on the bird table they all went really quickly. It's a bit like getting kids to eat their dinner.

Yes. I leave them for the birds, plus I have had better luck with the fallen seeds replanting themselves then planting the seeds myself, so I'm interested what will pop up in the spring. The yellow finches are always buzzing around . I'm writing a book here but recently at my garden at home a Mexican sunflower popped up from a seed from last year's flower. Lol...late bloomer🙂

I wrote a book , finished it off during lockdown, but I need to revise it. An old people's home in South London that takes the 'Special cases', a spy, a dominatrix, a trade unionist and a drug dealer, they team up. It's based on my life and friends :)

Haha. I meant I'm writing a book here as in long winded🤣 but your book sounds like a real page turner. Lemme know when it's published🙂
