my lemon tree has a LOT of pollen on it. It attracted ants and I see a lot of them dead around the stamen. Our bee's suck and aren't attracted to my trees. Are these ants going to help pollination, or are they pests?

Ants are not pollinators. There is something else going on. Have you sprayed an insecticide?

You don't want ants in your lemon tree, they are not pests per se but they are attracted to sap-feeders and they basically "farm" them if you will, this means that the more ants you get the more sap-feeders that you are going to get as they protect the little critters from their natural enemies, they tend them.

Ants are a symptom of a larger problem and are definitely not politaros.
