I've had my lilac for about 4 years now. Up until last year, it was in a moveable container. I put it in it's forever home last summer, so it's had time to establish over our wet winter. It didn't bloom this year. Did anyone else have this issue with their light lavender lilacs? It did get a little stressed when we moved last June, but like I said, it's had a bit of time to "recover'.

I think that it needs more time to settle down, it might take a few years to start flowering.

Lilacs (Syringa vulgaris cvs.) bloom on old wood from the previous season. Be sure that any pruning that is performed on a lilac occurs during or immediately after bloom. Pruning Lilacs in Fall or Winter is a common reason for no blooms the following Spring.
