Due to unheard of changes in climate our trees have been late in yielding. We should have by now got those fruits down. With this rain - which is normal at this time - all those fruits will rot - not a happy situation.

Luckily our coconuts are down. With rain the climbers find it difficult because of slippery trees.

Sorry to hear that, hope it lets up a bit so you can harvest the rest.

Wow, that's a lot of coconuts. So they will rot on the tree with too much rain?
Hopefully you are in a region unaffected by the recent earthquakes, @grouie. It's awful seeing the devastation there.

That earthquake did not affect us. It was in Nepal a different country.

Glad you're OK. I know Nepal is a different country and that's where the epicenter was, but Reuters is reporting that there was also damage and casualties in India.

You are right. There was damage in North India. You are a keen observer.

Uh oh :( I can't see your pictures because I am using public WiFi right now and it's so damn slow. I hope things get better with your trees and you can harvest before they rot.

I'm sorry to hear that:( But it doesn't change the fact that your garden looks absolutely gorgeous and very exotic. Also, at least you have a lot of delicious coconuts:D

I could finally see the pictures :) Your trees look amazing, it's a shame you are not being able to harvest though. Now I'm no expert when it comes to growing edibles, but your fruits seem that will be ready to harvest anytime soon. So maybe they can be saved? I surely hope so!

Glad you are okay. What will you do with the harvest you have been able to complete?

How fascinating to see your garden. Sorry that all those beautiful coconuts will not ripen. This forum really is interesting, exposing us to images we don't normally see and having conversation about the trials and tribulations of gardeners around the world. Thank you.
