Like a tomato cage. Do you think it can be accomplished?
Is it possible to grow winter squash in a cage?

Sure, it's easy. Just train the plant to grow up the cage and when the fruit forms put it in netting like an onion bag or panty hose to keep it from breaking off of the vine
