Irrigation connectors for joining 1/2" tubing to soaker hose

I live in the high desert region of eastern Oregon, so watering my trees/shrubs is important. I'm planning to irrigate several small trees with (approx.) 1/2" soaker hoses, with 1/2" black-plastic tubing leading from each soaker to the next. I have connectors for joining the plastic tubing, and I can get connectors for joining the soaker hoses, but I can't find soaker-to-tubing connectors. I've tried using the plastic-tubing connectors, but they're too large for the soaker hose.

Does anyone know of a source for connectors for 1/2" soaker hoses to 1/2" black plastic tubing?

II have got over a similar problem by coating the smaller pipe with gutter sealant and putting a screw clip around the larger.
