Howdy,
Strong eagle here. I've finally found some time to get on a garden forum and because of the isolation from Covid, glad to find some like-minded gardeners.
I.m 73 years young but I've been gardening [organic] since I was 12 and my dad thru a shovel at me because I told him he wasn't planting the tomatos right. I had to take over the family garden then and because I had 7 siblings I really had to learn fast.

You've obviously gained a lot of gardening experience from a young age - with or without your Dad's help along the way.
