Has anyone used systemic imidacloprid on Californian red scale . I have red scale and have been told imidacloprid doesn’t work on those only soft scale ( which from experience does work on soft scale)I was in the process of buying Movento (spiroetramat)
I have just found an article where tests were done with imidacloprid and it was unsuccessful as a foliage spray but did work as ground drench systemic version . Which is the one I have for the soft scale . Does anyone have any experience on Imidacloprid ground drench with red scale . As to go with Movento it is going to cost $700 . Any advice would help and be greatly appreciated .
