I give you my cherry tree. Its fall somewhere.

Its a cherry. Its starting to lose leaves and will be bare almost 3 months before the others drop. Of course it comes back while the others are sleeping. It will just look like a dead tree going into the end of summer as usual. Is it sick DM or has age crept up on it?
Autumn it turns out, has some thing of a negotiable start. It by no means loses everything quickly like so many around here will, but it just peppers the lawn with leaves over the weeks. I have never had a "pile" of cherry leaves the way I get piles of oak and other leaves. I suppose I should find out which type of cherry it might be. Its a big sucker, the trunk diameter is kind of amazing.I presume it does that every year. Is that due to your climate? Cherries here will hold onto their leaves until autumn.
