I've got all together 19 100 feet rows of corn planted in ground that was flooded last July. The flood made my soil quite sandy especially the first inch or two in-depth.
I had green beans planted in the area last summer when the flood hit. My father and granpa would always plant their corn where they had beans planted the prior year and that's the way I've planted all these years. But luckily for me both planting are doing very well!! I sure was sweating it thinking I made a mistake but buy the looks of it it's going to make some fine corn!

That's beauty for sure. I always plant my corn where legumes have grown immediately before. With that having flooded also, I'm going to predict an incredible harvest.
