Went to Lowe's and they had Thanksgiving Cactus blooming selling them as Christmas Cactus.

They are Christmas cactus, they just fiddle with blooming time so they can sell them more often. It is the EXACT same plant, not a different variety at all, so, yes, the store is correct.
Well why are the plants different?

Well I had a talk with person in charge and was told that they knew these were Thanksgiving Cactus but their blooming now which will sell them.
