How to control houseflies without insecticide?

I live in a farm. My house is near the barn. Since there is too much animal waste around, housefly is a major problem in my farm house. Usually, I use insecticide to control houseflies and other insects. I want to know about organic method to control houseflies.

Farm and flies are an issue. You must have good screen doors. Cover all food.The sticky tapes of old worked to some degree, but the new ones are useless. Several swatters in convenient places help. Avoid the insecticides. I know well your misery, since I was raised on a farm and flies were a constant hassle.
