How long before garlic water go bad?

i use garlic water to repel slugs and snails. however, i only have a small plot and i don't use a lot of the garlic water. i have had a jar of it in my fridge for about 3 months now. how long does it last in the fridge?

Smell it. That is how it works, via smell. Well it IS a bit of an oil. You can use preservatives like citric acid and lemon rind to extend it.

it's hard to tell if it has gone bad by smell as it is garlic.
