How do i maintain specific hydrangea color?

I just bought the most beautiful hydrangea with deep pink colored flowers. My other shrubs that live close by are always blue. How can I manipulate the soil to keep the pink color?

I do not fuss with the colors. In fact in the same garden I have hydrangeas with various colors. Same soil etc.

I think if your soil is close to neutral the plant will keep the color on the tag. Higher or lower in PH, and all bets are off.

then it might be. But be honest, I do not test it. My gardens are too vast for me to fuss with that. And still I get wonderful surprise colors.

I've seen multiple colors growing on the one bush here in Japan! That's what I would love to achieve - a bush with lovely pinks, purples and blues all in one!
