Just look at my little baby Boston Ivy scrambling up on to the verandah. I was ever so excited. I told her she was doing a wonderful job and to hang on tight.

But the one on the other side is climbing at snail pace. Looks to me like the same conditions but it mustn't be the same as the standard Geisha Girl in the pot on that side doesn't do as well either. I have to water that more as it wilts so I guess this poorly one needs feeding.

How far apart are they DeborahJane? I'm just wondering if any of the conditions they are growing in are different. Sun/shade, wind/windless and possibly other types of plants growing at their base that may be sapping the soil of water/nutrients?

5 metres or 5 yards from Geisna Girl to Geisha Girl. Looks pretty similar don't you think Sheal but obviously something is amiss. No plant extra plants nearby but a very slight descent maybe. But has to be rainfall because Geisha is in her pot so the slight angle down shouldn't matter.o_O
I must point out Max on the verandah. Just checking all is AOKAY.

@DeborahJane , your Boston Ivy is adorable:love: and it looks like we are getting a glimpse of the 78 hedge plants you planted recently looking perky(y)
She is doing a good job isn't she Beverly? I'll have to feed her little sister I think. I did include several of my 78 plants, thanks for remembering, in my response to Sheal. There is one definite casuality and one injured party nearby unfortunately.

Hello Max! :)

Hmmm, no real difference in the situation then. The only thing I can suggest is a good watering and then a feed to give it a boost. Even on a slight slope water will drain away from the roots.
